As per Rural District Act [Chapter 29:13] read together with the Urban Council Act [ Chapter 29:15], Revised Edition 1996, Section 239(b), this serves to notify the public that Umguza Rural Council will be undertaking a Valuation Roll for Rating purposes for all residential and non-residential properties (i.e., residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional properties), within the Council’s jurisdiction. The inspection exercise will be carried out by valuation officers from the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works as from the 13th of May 2024 to the 4th of June 2024 unless otherwise informed. All valuation officers will be positively identified by tags with Umguza Rural District Council logo and an official letter from Council duly stamped and signed.
